I cannot say enough wonderful things about Westgate Gardens and the way they cared for my mother. My mother had dementia and could definitely be a “firecracker” at times, but the staff always treated her with dignity, respect, patience, and grace–even during her most difficult moments. They showed her so much love and compassion. When she became unable to feed herself, they patiently assisted her with every meal and made sure she was cared for with kindness and dignity. The nurses, caregivers, staff, receptionist, social services team, and HR were all personable, professional, and compassionate. What meant the most to me was the way they cared for me and my family during the time my mother was dying. They continually checked in on us, made sure we were okay, and showed us genuine kindness and compassion during an incredibly difficult time. I will forever be grateful to everyone at Westgate Gardens for the love and care they gave my mother. They treated her as though she were their own mother. That kind of compassion is priceless. I would highly recommend Westgate Gardens to anyone looking for a place for their loved one. Knowing that my mother was treated with dignity, respect, patience, and genuine love brought me comfort during one of the hardest experiences of my life. I am writing to express my deepest appreciation to the entire staff of Westgate Gardens Care Center. I came to Westgate with BTK amputation. I was in a lot of pain and I was scared of what my life was going to be like in my new condition. From the very beginning the Doctors, Nursing staff, therapists and everyone else were incredible to me. They staff was very knowledgeable and encouraging. They treated me with compassion, patience and respect. My overall experience was fantastic. I feel confident, strong and restored. If you or your loved one are ever in need of a skilled nursing and or short-term rehabilitation facility, choose Westgate.
